On the Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah it is customary to gather for a special Selichot ceremony, during which we internally prepare ourselves for Rosh Hashanah.
At the WJC we gather for introspection and for setting our direction for the New Year. We meet late in the evening so that we can conclude with the customary blowing of the shofar at midnight.
If you will be joining us on Zoom, please be ready with some paper, a bowl of soapy water, also some card stock or index cards to write on, and a pen or pencil.
